| New lottery scratch-off really smells Posted: 24 Oct 2011 12:56 PM PDT Forget candy canes. I’m hanging lottery tickets on my Christmas tree this year. The Florida Lottery launches four new tickets Tuesday and one of them is a $2 holiday ticket “Peppermint Payout.” This isn’t just any ticket. It’s a peppermint-scented ticket. While some stores wait days to put out new scrach-off tickets, my friend Manjeet at the 7-Eleven at U.S. Highway 17-92 and Airport Boulevard in Sanford promises to have this and the other new tickets on sale at 6 a.m. The $1 ticket is also holiday-themed, but there is also a $2 “Triple Your Money” and a $5 “Diamond 7s.”
