Rhode Island ticket wins $336.4 million Powerball jackpot Posted: 11 Feb 2012 09:53 PM PST The wild ride is over. Someone in Rhode Island won the jackpot, which grew to $336.4 million by the time sales ended for the drawing. The lump-sump payout for that jackpot is an amazing$210 million. The numbers were 01 – 10 – 37 – 52 – 57 and the Powerball was 11. The best anyone in Florida did was match four numbers and the Powerball. Eight people did that to win $10,000 and three did it with Power Play to win $40,000. As for Mr. Lucky? Well, I won $4 for having the Powerball. |

Where’s best to buy Powerball tickets fast? Posted: 11 Feb 2012 01:28 PM PST I bought five Powerball tickets today with Power Play at Rightway Foods, 167 W. Plant St., downtown Winter Garden. There was no line at all! I went there because it’s a more-obscure place to buy Powerball tickets, compared with such places as 7-Eleven and Publix, which often have huge lines. Is this a strategy you use too to avoid long lines when buying big-jackpot tickets? Where did you buy your tickets and was there a line? How long? Inquiring Mr. Lucky blog readers want to know!
