Lottery results: Powerball rolls over again, grows to $240M

No one won either Powerball or Florida Lotto in Saturday’s drawings. That means both jackpots grow for Wednesday’s drawings. But the amount they grow is a lot different.

Lotto will climb from $7 million to $8 million. Powerball, however, jumps from Saturday’s $205 million payout to a whopping $240 million.

The cash value of Powerball’s jackpot is $159.7 million if you choose the lump-sum option.

As you dream about how to spend all that money, here’s an oddity to ponder. All 3 of tonight’s major drawings included one particular number: 22. As you see on the numbers below, Powerball, Florida Lotto and Fantasy 5 all included the number 22. And Powerball and Lotto shared another lucky number: 27.
