Scratch-off tickets continue to sell at record pace Posted: 12 Mar 2012 12:50 PM PDT Scratch-off lottery tickets continue to be a hot commodity in Florida. The Florida Lottery just announced that scratch-off sales for the week ending March 11 exceeded $62.9 million, topping the previous week when sales were more than $60 million. It was the second week in a row in which sales reached the highest level since the Florida Lottery launched its first tickets in 1988, selling $95 million in scratch-off tickets in the first 12 days of operations. |
