Orlando woman claims $6 million Lotto jackpot

An Orlando woman has stepped forward to claim the $6 million jackpot from the Florida Lottery’s March 14 Lotto drawing.

Philomena Pirolo, 46, told Lottery officials she had been playing Lotto for a number of years and was ecstatic that her numbers finally paid off.

Her numbers: 01, 10, 17, 19, 22 and 31.

Pirolo chose to take her winnings as a lump-sum payment of $4,066,733.50.

She bought the ticket at the Publix at 11955 E. Colonial Drive in Orlando, and the store received a bonus commission of $25,000 for selling the winning ticket.

Total ticket sales for this jackpot generated more than $5.2 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund.
