Two Kissimmee tickets win big bucks from the Florida Lottery Posted: 20 Sep 2011 11:02 AM PDT Two people have made the trek to Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee to redeem tickets purchased in Kissimmee. Manuel Montrond, 55, of Kissimmee, claimed a $1 million prize in the Billion Dollar Blockbuster scratch-off game. Montrond chose the one-time, lump-sum payment option $650,000. He is the 39th winner to claim a $1 million prize in the popular $20 game. There are 81 of the $1 million prizes remaining, as well as six of 10 of the top prize of $10 million. Montrond purchased his winning ticket at Publix, 3343 S. Orange Blossom Trail. Ramiro Soto, 47, of Bluffton, S. C., claimed the Saturday night Mega Money jackpot of $600,000, choosing to take a one-time, lump-sum payment of $430,460.61. He purchased his winning at Bravo Supermarket, 4108 W. Vine St. |
