Tavares Fantasy 5 ticket worth $55K expires this month

If you have ever played Fantasy 5 at the Sunshine Express at 105 W. Burleigh Blvd. in Taveres, cancel you weekend plans and go on a treasure hunt.

The Florida Lottery says a Fantasy 5 ticket from that store is going to expire later this month.

This a a free Quick Pick, obtained for getting two numbers right in a previous drawing. It was for the Feb. 24 drawing when the winning numbers were 01, 05, 13, 33 and 35.

It was one of four tickets that split the jackpot that night. Each won $55,464.96.

George J. Blair Jr. of St. Cloud has already claimed his share of the pie. He bought his winning Quick Pick at a Mobil station at 2101 Old Canoe Creek Road in St. Cloud.

Other winning tickets were bought in Lake Wales and Jacksonville.

Only the Tavares ticket remains unclaimed and at the strike of midnight Aug. 23 it becomes a bookmark.
