South Daytona man wins $1 million Monopoly prize Posted: 16 Aug 2011 12:52 PM PDT A South Daytona man has claimed a top prize of $1 million in the Florida Lottery’s $1,000,000 Monopoly scratch-off game. Kenneth Triplett, 46, took a one-time, cash payment of $700,000, Lottery officials said. He purchased his winning ticket at Masonova Shell, 790 N. Nova Road, Daytona Beach. The $10 scratch-off game launched on July 5 and offers more than $89 million in prizes, including 10 top prizes of $1 million and more than 3.6 million prizes ranging from $10 to $10,000. There are nine $1 million top prizes remaining. |
